here we go, im what you lot call a newbie i recently brought my 66 beetle about 5 weeks ago with a simple task of a quick doer upper,lol,yer right.
as usual ive got carried away and now shes a full resto project

thanks guys im in the process of trying to chisel the body from the floor because someone has welded it together with repair plates, bless em!
it needs plenty of welding so guess im going to be busy for a while, ie new front inner wing, heater channels, spare wheel well, front clip, etc,etc,etc. most panels are brought now so a good starting point, once all seperated the chassis is going away to be shot blasted so i can see what ive got left.
then the real fun begins!!!!!!!!! lol!

well quick update the body is off the chassis now so all the fun starts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the plans are shot blast the chassis in a few weeks and new foor pans and cut any rust out of the body!!!

Another update started the shot blasting process, oh she is a rotter lol brought new floorpans and bottom plate for the headstock plenty of welding to do i think! will put some pics up when i suss out how to do it lol Very Happy

ha ha! im pretty sure 99.9999999999% of beetles are rotters! ha!

If you want to upload photos you need to put them on something like photo bucket first, then copy the image link into your post. Im sure Laurie and Mike will be able to explain it better than me... there might even be a post somewhere describing how to do it...
