the problem they will have is there will be nothing stopping anyone getting a pre 60 putting a big cc engine in and not building the rest to handle it. Especially these rat boys it will be a competition to find the rattiest(shitest) looking car to drive too

It looks like you will still have to prove it is safe... Christ knows how! I can't imagine I could just drive the oval around in the state it is in...

For this reason,i think this a bad idea. It'll be back to the days of pop riveted and home made fibreglass repair panels!
