Banded Steels Empty Banded Steels

Post  VdubHarry Fri Jun 29, 2012 11:38 pm

Anyone know somewhere or someone who does Banded Steels for quite a good price?

Thinking of getting the standard 14" steels I got with my golf banded ready for Winter as they need new tyres anyway.

So it makes sense to get them banded before I get the new tyres for some nice stretch and poke!!

Was thinking of going for around 9.5j/ 10j for the rears, 8.5j for the fronts

Thanks

keep an eye on edition38 forum or eBay they come up quite often on there.

Or there are companies on eBay that will do it for you to any width you like.

Yeahhh I've found a set ending tomorrow on ebay but the fronts at 7j and the rears are 8j, Ive got my
20mm and 15mm hub centric spacers on my wheels at the moment that i could use with them but I was going to go WIDER Smile

Although they are only at a £5 at the moment so I could pick them up as bargain if I'm lucky

Where did you get yours done for the passat? or did you buy them already banded

I've also found a seller on eBay who bands all wheels up to 15" for £50 a wheel as wide as you want, but you have to post your wheels to him and he's in Peterborough
