The unfortunate demise of the Gayzeeeeebo

Post  ben on Tue May 13, 2014 10:42 pm

Hello!
Right then... due to the pretty awful winds at Apex Festival we lost the Gayzeeeebo to the God of Wrath.
Pretty much every pole has a bend or break in it.
Im hoping that Ade still has the cover and the sides.
Robbo and I were talking about trying to fix it and replace any non fixable poles with second ones.
BUT, this might not be possible and we might have to buy a new one.
So, please please please if you think its worth replacing (and i think it definately is), can you bring £10 (or more if you want!) to the next meet on thursday 5th June.
They are £160 from camping international which is probably going to be the cheapest we can find (correct me if im wrong).
http://www.camping-intl.com/details/Coleman_Event_Shelter_15x15/

So thats 16 people at £10 each so should be pretty easy to do.
If we dont get enough money i will just give it all back to everybody and we wont get another shelter.
If we get too much money then i will be giving some to Mikey as he is still well out of pocket for the last one (and the additional sides), and buying some more sides or a groundsheet or some beers!

If you do put money into the pot for a new one then you are more than welcome to use it for your own personal gatherings, outings, porn filming, parties etc etc

Im going to start a list but you dont have to put your name on it if you would just rather give me the cash and not do any typing -
cheers guys!

1. - Ben and Sam - £20

I guess if the kitty goes fat, you can get the groundsheet or some sides to go with it.

For those who are not on facebook - The Gaaayzeeeboo has now been purchased Smile

If you have not yet contributed, your money will go towards storm straps.
