Winter Tyres recommendations

I've got a set of 15" bbs alloys sitting in my garage which is perfect for a set of winter wheels but I don't know what winter tyres to get?

You guys recommend any good and reasonably priced winter tyres?

I found a thread on another forum from last year and the five tyres that the most people seemed to go for were;

Avon Ice tourer
Vredestein Snowtrac 3's
Toyo SnowProxes
Handkook icebar
Nokian WR G2

Anyone use any of these tyres?

I used hankook's in Sweden and they performed well. Vredestein have a good reputation for winter tyres but are expensive.

If your buying all 4 try event tyres online, they come out with tyre van and fit them, normally works out cheaper than buying locally.

If you,ve never used winter tyres you'll be amazed at the difference they make.
