Re: Mine and Andi's............
A quick update; Laurie and I had a quick look at the bug and, with a bit of force-fed fuel, she ran! Fuel pump is fooked and petrol pisses out of pretty much every fuel line but engine sounds ok.
With regard to rot, pan and heater channels are all relatively new and solid. The same can't be said for the frame-head as it is completely fooked!!! Looks like it might just be the bottom plate though but won't know for sure until the wings, tank etc. are all off.
Thanks to Laurie for the help and pics to follow at the weekend!

Shaun started cutting her up today so I've just had to buy more repair panels!
She's just gone in for a complete resto again but will hopefully come back a little lower!

Its worse than Ben and I remembered from last year so still not sure what the future holds for this. I guess it depends upon what rot I find underneath...................................
More pics (in daylight this time) after its washed and the stripping has started!
She lives!!
Finally got the old girl started yesterday after replacing the fuel pump and a few pipes. Had a bit better look over her and she is a bit more rotten than I initially thought but definitely worth saving!! So....................this is the plan..........................

Re: Mine and Andi's............
Bit of an update on project 'baja'................
After getting the old girl started last week, I decided to start stripping her back to see how rotten she is and if she is worth saving!
Grant and Laurie gave me a hand removing her knackered wings...................
......................and the good news is that apart from a rotten frame-head bottom plate and couple of patches on her heater channels she seems quite solid!
